PISTE MAPS FOR THE MOST POPULAR SKI AREAS IN POLAND

The slopes in and around Zakopane offer something for everyone. Ultimately, the pistes are best suited to beginners, early intermediates and family groups, but more challenging reds and blacks can also be found. We suggest you take a look at some of the piste maps below, then discuss with us where you’d like to go during your holiday.

Here are some of the slopes we can take you to…

BIALKA TATRZANSKA

Bialka Tartzanska Piste Map

Poland’s biggest and best resort, Bialka Tatrzanska is only a short drive from Zakopane. We will pick you up from your hotel each morning and ferry you to the slopes.  There, you will find eighteen kilometres of snowy heaven, consisting mostly of blue runs, with the occasional red thrown in for fun.

Snow cannons, floodlit slopes and modern chairlifts are all present, alongside cross country runs and plenty of off-piste adventures. Each piste boasts her own mountain bar and restaurant, with shops and street food at the bottom.

NOSAL, HARENDA & JURGOW

Nosal, Zakopane piste map

Nosal’s gentle nursery slopes make her the perfect place for a group of absolute beginners to take their first, tentative steps onto the snow. Being within Zakopane town, and with a welcoming inn close by, it is especially suited to a family group.

Harenda Piste MapMeanwhile, Harenda offers the pleasing challenge of both a red and black run from the top of her four man chairlift. This makes Harenda ideal for improving intermediates to spend half a day honing their skills.

Jurgow piste map

Beautiful Jurgow can be found on the edge of the stunning Tatra National Park, offering views of mighty Rysy as a backdrop. With five lifts and seven slopes, there is something for everyone here. There are nursery slopes for beginners, a pair of easy blues and two of the most challenging runs in the region.

With both an inn and restaurant present, Jurgow is another great half-day option.

SZYMOSZKOWA

Floodlit Szymoszkowa sits beside one of the largest hotels in Zakopane. There is a small blue run at the base of the hill. Two challenging reds, turning into blues, are accessed by the main, speedy chairlift.

KASPROWY WIERCH

Kasprowy Wierch piste map

Mighty Kasprowy Wierch towers over Zakopane. Her formidable peak, a majestic 1,987 metres above sea level, is reached by cable car. There are two black runs and literally hours of unspoilt, off-piste action to be enjoyed in her vast powder bowls.

Amongst the countless skiers who’ve tackled Kasprowy since the first cable car opened in 1935 was a young Pope John Paul II. You’ll be in famous company indeed once you conquer her slopes!
